LANDSCAPING CONSULTATION

  • Identify problem areas and potential solutions

  • Discuss wants and needs

  • Present product options with catalogues

  • Rough sketches to illustrate what is discussed

  • Show options with catalogue of past project samples

  • Provide broad cost estimate

  • Advise as to next steps (design sketches, finalized designs, estimates)

  • Summarize consultation and give additional answers or ideas

  • Can be an initial consultation for landscape design work

HORTICULTURE CONSULTATION

  • Plant identification

  • Disease/pest identification

  • Find planting problems and possible solutions

  • Present horticultural best-practice

  • Rough sketches to illustrate what is discussed

  • Present photos/catalogues of plant material to show options

  • Provide broad cost estimate

  • Advise as to next steps (design sketches, finalized designs, estimates)

  • Summarize consultation and give additional answers or ideas

  • Can be an initial consultation for a horticultural planting plan

INSTALLATION CONSULTATION

  • Help marking and/or shaping construction areas

  • Support determining depths and levels

  • Demonstrate landscaping techniques and materials installation

PLANTING PLAN:  $475

  • Within 30km radius of Hilgersom, Inc.; longer distance at extra cost

  • Residential properties up to 14,000 sq. ft.; larger properties at extra cost

  • Requires you to send us a Real Property Report ahead of time; this information is used to measure the yard during first site visit

  • 1.5 hour onsite consultation; $50 per additional 30 minutes

  • Mature plant size, necessary growing conditions and client ideas considered before we place perennials, shrubs and trees into an existing landscape design, for presentation to client

  • Changes to the initial planting plan made, as needed before we present a final sketch, including labeled plants

  • Estimate for the planting installation based on plan

DESIGN SKETCHES:  $800

  • Within 30km radius of Hilgersom, Inc.; longer distance at extra cost

  • Residential properties up to 14,000 sq. ft.; larger properties at extra cost

  • Requires you to send us a Real Property Report ahead of time; this information is used to measure the yard during first site visit

  • 1.5 hour onsite consultation; $50 per additional 30 minutes

  • Draft and presentation of a scaled rough sketch, based on consultation

  • Changes to the design as needed, before presentation of a final sketch

  • Expectation as to mature plant sizes and amounts, planting material not specified

  • Estimate for materials cost OR installation cost, based on design sketch

  • Cost of consultation and design sketch can be used as credit toward landscape installation; no credit for product

MASTER PLAN:  $1200

The design sketch will be finalized and a planting plan included in the final presentation.

  • Includes a printed copy of final landscape design, a colour rendering and a scaled construction drawing

  • Fully labeled, includes planting plan

  • Estimate for materials cost OR installation cost included with final design

  • Cost of landscape design can be used as credit toward landscape installation; no credit toward product

  • This final design becomes customer property, allowing other landscapers to quote our design
